The Kilim Art of Stanley Walter Bulbach
at the Pennswood Art Gallery

The preliminary photos of this wonderful project are now available here.  This is an absolute delightful art gallery set amidst the famed artistic environment of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania's interest in Bulbach's textile art extends four decades back in time to the early 1980 's when his art work was exhibited at the the Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia, and then again a bit later at the George W. O'Bannon Gallery for Oriental Rugs and Textile Arts.

In this current exhibition at the Pennswood Art Gallery, the flying carpet, Iris, is premiered.  More about that kilim below (see table of contents on the left).

Incredibly, the public health crisis continues four years later, although no longer as horribly fatal as it was originally.  Perhaps soon we might begin to reflect on what this tragedy was, and how we might deal with such things better the next time around.
