Messengers — a flying carpet

"Angel" comes from the ancient Greek for "messenger." Reminiscent of ancient Peruvian shrouds bearing footprints of the departed, here their traces are left across sky and its gilded evening clouds.

This flying carpet is dedicated to the memory of Diane Sabbarese, a gentle, loving teacher of spinning, dyeing and weaving.
